Terms of service
Last updated
These terms cover your use of Cutscene: the website at trycutscene.com, the Chrome extension and the Claude Code plugin. Cutscene is run by Farzam Azhar in Lahore, Pakistan. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
Beta
Cutscene is in beta. Features, limits and plans can change, and the service may be interrupted while it improves. During the beta it is free.
Your account
You need a working email address to sign in, and you are responsible for what happens in your account and in the browsers you sign in to. You must be at least 16.
What you record
- Record only apps and content you have the right to show. You are responsible for your recordings, notes and scripts, and for who you share links with.
- Do not record other people's personal data without their permission, and do not use Cutscene for anything unlawful, harmful or deceptive.
- Cutscene acts in your own browser with your own sign-ins. It clicks and types only the steps in the script you approve, and it never types into password fields.
Your content
Your recordings, notes and scripts stay yours. You allow Cutscene to store, process and stream them only to provide the service to you and the people you share with, including through the providers listed in the privacy policy.
AI-generated content
Scripts are written by AI and narration uses synthetic voices. Review a script before you record it. AI output can be wrong, and you are responsible for what your videos say.
Plans and limits
Cutscene may set limits on recording minutes, narration and requests to keep the service fair and running. Paid plans, when they arrive, will be explained before you are charged anything.
Ending
You can stop using Cutscene and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. Cutscene may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
Disclaimers
Cutscene is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Cutscene is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Cutscene in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, this page shows the new date, and significant changes are emailed to account holders before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Questions go to hello@trycutscene.com.
